The long term economic decline has increased the number of homeless individuals and families in crisis throughout the Twin Cities, and MRD’s primary focus continues to be to provide the most urgently in need with on-the-street care and support every day. As a result we ask that you to consider making a donation to help us keep pace with the growing needs. All donations are used directly for general operating expenses, or funding program items like food, bus tokens, clothing, school supplies, and personal care needs. MRD also provides referrals to agencies that help with housing, counseling, chemical dependency, job placement, financial aid, and medical care. Over the years, the initial steps facilitated by MRD have helped enable numerous at risk kids and homeless individuals begin the transformation towards leading happier, healthier, and more productive lives. That remains our ultimate goal.
